Conservatives want the government to fight against evil, but they don't want the government to fight for good, saying that good will take care of itself if we just leave it alone.

I just had the urge to ask various conservatives which they think is a more important cause to fight against, between terrorism, abortion, and gay marriage. It would be interesting to see their reasoning.

My cousins seem to really think abortion is most important, since my cousin Kristin said that she would seriously consider voting for a Democrat president if he was pro-life. It was the main thing she had against Obama.

Yeah, cuz everyone knows being Pro-Abortion translates to "every young woman must intentionally get pregnant and then have an abortion, preferably after 23wks gestation", right?

And Cheney basically said that waterboarding (something we've prosecuted others for as a war crime) is a valid way to get information out of prisoners today, so, you know, a vote for a like-minded Republican kinda is a vote for a terrorist. At least McCain is against waterboarding. *sigh* Doubt he'd make Cheney and Bush stand trial for their war crimes tho - you know, war is just one letter short of warm so shouldn't we all be fuzy about it?

Sleep deprivation is makimg me goofy(er). Garvin's LOUD coughing has been keeping me up and Del's been coughing a bit too. Luckily Garvin's feeling significantly better today and Del is in a smiley mood for the first time in a couple days after waking up from his afternoon nap. Hopefully the tide of sickiness has turned here, not about to crash on me.
